Video Surveillance Systems

We design and install complete video surveillance systems for home, business, and government in Raleigh, Charlotte, and many other areas of NC. The typical business or home surveillance system that we install consists of a digital video recorder (DVR), one to sixteen security cameras, an LCD surveillance monitor (19″ and 22″ is very typical), cabling & power supplies for each camera.

Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)

Digital video recorders are the brains of the surveillance system. The DVR performs the following functions:

  • Records video surveillance footage to the hard drive.
  • Determines when video is recorded – options include 24/7, scheduled, and motion detection recording.
  • Allows the user to search through and playback recorder video.
  • Allows the user to export video to a USB drive to show to the police, court judge, or others.
  • Control PTZ cameras – Pan, Tilt, and Zoom camera controls.
  • Enable remote Internet access – all of our DVRs allow you to access your security cameras from remotely over the Internet for live viewing. View your security cameras from iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows. You can see some sample pictures here: remote dvr viewer access.
  • Choose the camera display on the monitor – single camera, quad view, picture in picture, and multiple cameras views are supported.
  • Send live video output to multiple monitors.
  • Many other features are available and supported.

Security Cameras

Each surveillance system can be configured with different types of security cameras. A typical system has 4, 8, or 16 security cameras, but all of our systems can be customer configured to your exact needs. Click here to read more about the different types of security cameras that are available.

LCD Surveillance Monitors

Our systems can connect to CRT and LCD surveillance monitors. A 19″ or 22″ monitor is the most popular. we can also configure your system to be displayed on larger high definition television monitors.

CCTV Cables & Power Supplies

Our professional installers will determine the best cabling and power supplies for your system. We typically use RG59 siamese coax cable for our CCTV Cameras and 8 or 16 channel power supply boxes to power the cameras.
